Angel Adames is charged with first- and third-degree homicide and related counts, said Spring police in a release.
The shooting happened around 7 a.m. on Tuesday, June 25, authorities explained. Police were called to 2105 Penn Avenue where they found 55-year-old Gregory Crammer dead from a gunshot wound in a first-floor apartment.
Adames, who lives in the second-floor apartment, was arrested at the scene, authorities said.
He is being held without bail, officials said Tuesday evening.
